I live in San Diego County, so roughly maybe 130 miles south. The past 2 days, the fog has been very thick down here; I grew up near Calabasas so can imagine how thick the fog was, and how extremely low the visibility was. Just horrible.

Happy New Year from San Diego! We dined on homemade New England Clam Chowder, sat by the fire pit and sipped on some Gentleman Jack whiskey. Watching a Chicago PD Marathon but will likely fall asleep in about 30 minutes. My son and daughter will wake me up at 2355 to ring in the New Year...

Loved when we lived in Hawaii. Games would start at 0700, then at 1000 ish. California now...still prefer an early Pats game (1000).

I don't go anywhere to any parties for any reason. :) Football is watched at home with my husband and son, if he is not working. Chatter is discouraged, and I do not allow sound because I hate almost all the announcers. I do like Tony Romo, so I may turn the sound up. My husband asked...
