I live in San Diego County, so roughly maybe 130 miles south. The past 2 days, the fog has been very thick down here; I grew up near Calabasas so can imagine how thick the fog was, and how extremely low the visibility was. Just horrible.
Happy New Year from San Diego! We dined on homemade New England Clam Chowder, sat by the fire pit and sipped on some Gentleman Jack whiskey. Watching a Chicago PD Marathon but will likely fall asleep in about 30 minutes. My son and daughter will wake me up at 2355 to ring in the New Year...
I don't go anywhere to any parties for any reason. :) Football is watched at home with my husband and son, if he is not working. Chatter is discouraged, and I do not allow sound because I hate almost all the announcers. I do like Tony Romo, so I may turn the sound up.

Coming out of lurking land to thank you for your weekly insight. As many have noted, your post-game thread and analysis has been something to look forward to each Monday, or Tuesday, or Friday during the season. :) .
Buffalo wings and strips, chili cheese dip, possibly tri tip later on. I have a bottle of California chardonnay chilling. The past two super bowls i was too anxious to eat or drink, but enjoyed a nice belt of scotch post game.
Not sure who it was, but one of the Pats Dline said this week he felt that each and every one of them (on Pats D) was an underdog. So maybe no faking being pissed....
