Great point on Brady-Montana, SB's -PFW

I never said any of that. Yes, the NFC was dominant, but Montana had two kinds of Super Bowls, blowouts with insane statistics, and two close games where he needed to play well in the 4th quarter for them to win. Just because the 49ers were in the dominant conference at the time, doesn't mean...

Great point on Brady-Montana, SB's -PFW

I agree, sort of. The NFC DID win 13 straight, yes. But only two of the Niners SB wins were easy games. The other two were close calls against Cincinnati.

Patriots Broadcaster Gil Santos Spent Five Weeks in Coma This Offseason

Saw Gil about six weeks ago at one of his grandchildren's (?) softball games. He was using a cane with a slight limp, but other than that, you would have never known he had been ill just by looking at him.

    Massarotti is on WEEI

Re: Masserotti is on WEEI Tony makes less sense than the lunatic preacher that 1510 has on overnights, and that's saying a lot. You know your station is in trouble when you're giving five hours of airtime (the graveyard shift, granted) to a guy who thinks the world is going to end tomorrow.

    Mort on Mike and Mike

Bingo. All conspiracy-minded people have the same pathological mindset: the lack of evidence for a conspiracy actually proves the conspiracy - "THEY are hiding the evidence..." With your brain hermetically sealed like that, no potential new information can possibly change your mind. Anything...

    Anyone heard this rumor?

Folks, one of the reasons that open space exists in the first place was to allow heavy equipment (like cranes) to enter the field area easily to make the staging of concerts feasible. Stages, etc. need to be constructed for concerts, and the Krafts wanted large vehicles to get into the stadium...

    Tom Brady

Dimwit. Kraft bought the team in '94, and as owner he's only had two losing seasons in 13 years. The team has only had two bottom-of-the-barrel periods - the late 60's/early70's, and the early 90's. The only time a 49ers troll should EVER talk trash here is if his team is actually good. IF...

    Banned from JetsInsider.com

Their response to anything from Pats fans over there these days are stupid asterisks. That's what passes for "argument" over there. So lame and pathetic. Jealous crybabies.

    Give the crowd credit tonight

    >>One thing I did notice was ALOT of Bears fans were at the game. Not even close to a majority, of course, but it seemed like more opposing fans than any recent game I can remember.<< I agree. You could even hear a "Mooose.." chant when Muhammad made a catch. My guess on that is because a...

    Patriots are becoming too arrogant

Fine, but it's always something. Let's just say I'll be a lot happier if Indy plays Denver in the playoffs and dispatches them for us. I'm in absolutely no hurry to play that team again. I know the attitude of the next-time-it'll-be-different crowd, but it's a bad matchup for the Patriots no...

    Patriots are becoming too arrogant

Since the beginning of the Super Bowl the record is 6-21 against Denver, which is the worst against any team in the Pats' history. The point is there always seems to be an excuse why we don't beat them. I'm running out of excuses. I'm only arguing the point because I disagree with Jacky on...

    Patriots are becoming too arrogant

We appear to have a problem beating Denver no matter how good the team is. It seems to be a matchup issue because other good teams seem to have no trouble beating the Broncos - especially the Colts. It's worth noting that the three times we won the SB, we never had to face Denver in the playoffs...

    Booing at the stadium.

I'm willing to assume that my own team doesn't have their head in the game when: a missed assignment results in a hideous defensive touchdown on the game's first play, the team gets flagged for 12 men in the huddle and the first half resulted in practically negative yards passing with Matt Light...

    Booing at the stadium.

Seems like the only one calling it childish and ignorant are people of your ilk. Seymour's right. We want them to win. When they play really poorly - and way below their capabilities, they hear it. Since it takes quite a level of ineptitude for the fans to actually boo, the last thing I'd...

    Booing at the stadium.

As ridiculous as Tunescribe's parody is, equally ridiculous is the idea that football players are so emotionally fragile that they can't handle negative reaction from their own fans after playing beyond poorly. Guys that fragile shouldn't be in the NFL. They should all quit and become...
