It's been an amazing season for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and the NFL issued a release this morning that has him eligible for an additional honor.
According to the release, Brady is among the finalists for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Year. He joins quarterbacks New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers, who are also both in the running for the award.
For any fans who want to vote, you can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com/FedEx until Friday, January 27 at 9 pm ET to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year.
Should Brady win, FedEx will support education efforts at Junior Achievement by making a $25,000 donation in his name, which will be allocated to local Junior Achievement area offices in the winning players' city or state. That money is used to educate the next generation of entrepreneurs on how to start and grow their own small businesses.
Brady finished with a career year in passing yards during the regular season, finishing 401-for-611 while throwing for 5235 yards, 39 touchdowns, and just 12 interceptions.
