Green-Ellis ran all over the Jets defense last sunday on October 9th, 2011. The Jets beat the Patriots in their divisional playoff game back in January after the Pats had gone 14-2 during the regular season. It was a heartbreaking loss for all New England fans. The Patriots performed so well all during the regular season but got knocked out of the playoffs in one game from the Jets. The win on sunday moves the Pats to 4-1 on the season, while the Jets are at 2-3. Green-Ellis carried the ball 27 times for 136 yards in sunday’s showdown. This includes 10 big carries in the fourth quarter to burn the clock out. The New England Patriots gained a measure of revenge over the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium. The final score was 30-21 and I’m sure the Jets will be looking for payback the next time they meet. I look forward to the next game versus the Jets because Green-Ellis will be ready to tear apart the Jets defense from the opening drive to the end.
