Good news for Patriots fans on Thursday, after NECN reported that tight end Aaron Hernandez returned to practice after missing Wednesday's session.
The team practiced inside Thursday thanks to the rain here in New England, and the only players reportedly not present were runningback Fred Taylor and Safety Jarrad Page.
According to the report Hernandez absence on Wednesday wasn't injury related, so he should be ready to go when the Patriots take on the Browns Sunday out in Cleveland.
The rookie tight end has played in seven games this season with six starts, and has 29 receptions for 388 yards, but so far (surprisingly) hasn't caught a touchdown pass yet this year.
