It's Friday night. I'm at work and wouldn't be on the computer if I wasn't. Why are you guys spending Friday night on the computer?
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the company, but....

Mine would most likely be "Scotch:30" :D lol.

I've got a bottle of 21 y/o Balvenie that goes well with pretty much any cigar I have at my disposal. I have some "lesser" bottles (read: ones that don't cost 140/bottle) that I drink more regularly. Auchentoshan 10 year, Triple wood; Balvenie Double wood; Glenfiddich 12-18 y/o.

Most of those are 35-60/bottle and are pretty damn good.

    Wow. I would imagine.

Not much of a Scotch man myself. Allegash Belgian White, Duvel, Sam Adams and Sol. I believe the Mrs. was good enough to pick me up a 12 pk of the SA Winter tonight too. :woohoo:

At least in "SoCal" you can still sit outside an enjoy a drink and stogey. *sigh* Those days are over on the East Coast for a few months.

When I drink beer, it's usually Guinness or something dark. I'm not a light colored beer man.

I like just about anything from "Stone Brewing Co." but they are local San Diego brewery, so I'm not sure you can get anything. My favorite from them is something called "Arrogant Bastard" and "Double Arrogant" :D It's damn near chewey :D lol

Whats the deal with no smoking outside on the east coast?

I like the dark stuff too. Duvel and Allagash have a bit of a bite to them. I don't drink Coors/anything or Bud/anything.

Well not sure about Boston, but Cape Cod went no smoking in like 2000. NYC shortly after that and NJ about 2 years ago. Second hand smoke I guess got to be too much for the heavy dringking non-smokers in the bars so...

I don't mind so much though, becuase ultimately when I give it up I'll be thankful for the smoke-free environment.

For me there's no smoking in the house.

Well, you haven't been able to smoke inside any bars or reasturants for ages here in Cali. There are designated smoking sections in the patio area. If my friend and I both light up, we can clear the area in no time. I guess cig smokers don't like cigar smokers lol!

I gave up Cig's a bit over 10 months ago. But I still enjoy a Cigar 1-2x a week. While still bad for you, at least I can breath in the morning lol. Smokers hangover is the worst thing possible to top off a hangover...

Yes it is. I had pneumonia (sp?) in Jun and quit until about september. I felt great the whole time. Lungs opened back up, etc.
Me and the Mrs. are going to quit together for New Years. Not sure about how she's going to do, but I'm determined. I used to know a guy w/ emphazema and I don't want to end up like that. Scary.

Have her break her leg.... Thats how my wife quit last new years... It wasn't planned or anything lol. She fell while we were at a skating rink and so we spent NYE @ the hospital.

She was told that blood has a hard enough time getting to that portion of the body and smoking inhibits that even more so. So she quit right away... It took me another couple months to quit, but we both went cold turkey... It's one of those, "when you're ready, you're ready!" type situations. My 1 year anniversary is actually 5 days before our first son is due to be born! :rocker: :rocker:

Wow. Well, congratulations! I bet you're excited about your first boy eh?

We're both divorced and I have only a step-son so far, whom I love to death. I get to live vicariously through him most times. I only wish I had stored all that Star Wars stuff I had as a kid. We'll see here pretty soon though, if I'm man enough to put the stem on the ole' apple myself or not. ;)

Well, it's about that time. Have good weekend all!

It's now Saturday AM, but the thought of God's people's supreme gift to civilization :D makes me mellow. I like Talisker and some other smokey bottles. That way I don't need to have the yearly cigar along with 'em. :)

It's not really a "need" to have the cigars. I enjoy the flavor and the aroma of the scotch all by themselves. I just generally drink scotch while having a cigar.

Well, no... not really. I stayed the night at my girlfriends house (she goes to UD) to watch the game. They where getting blown out and I was enjoying watching App States QB (He was REALLY good last night :D)... so I decided to surf the net while she watched her team suck :p
