The latest from Wes Bunting at the National Football Post:
NFP?s 2009 Big 12 all-prospect team | National Football Post
TE Jermaine Gresham and WR Dez Bryant made the team despite missing most or all of their respective seasons.
The most interesting group to me are the OLBs:
- Von Miller, Texas A&M. 6'3" 240# speed rusher with a very fast 1st step, in the Elvis Dumervil mold. A liability against the run and somewhat one-dimensional, but that dimension is very, very good.
- Sergio Kindle, Texas. 6'4" 254# guy with freakish athleticism.
- Jeremy Beal, Oklahoma. 6'3" 260#. My favorite of the 3, came to Oklahoma as an LB and has great versatility and drive. Bunting notes "Could end up playing as a 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB at the next level, but either way, he’s simply too talented to leave off this list."
Redshirt sophomore DE/DT Jared Crick from Nebraska is a guy to keep an eye on for the future.
