UDFA OT Lavdrim Bauta signed

Who knows EXACTLY what or why they are doing what they are...but it seems obvious that something is going on...OR why would they bring in two tackles in two days to round out the roster....
They could be looking move Britt to a blocking TE..and thus another OT would be needed....they also could be thinking about taking a OT O'Callaghan or Kaczur and having them move inside...(maybe Neal will start on PUP)....thus more OT's are needed..added to that OT Ross might not be ready to practice.. ANY and all are certainly possible..Bauta may be a long term project...a PSqder..who knows..but he's a body in camp at tackle..and I am sure there was some strategic move to sign him and get bodies in camp...

So much for Seau filling that 80th spot. :D

Bauta went undrafted in 2007 but hasn't signed with any team until now.

Villanova profile: http://villanova.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/bauta_lav00.html

He also has two brothers, Izzy and Imer, who are offensive linemen with Villanova, plus another brother, Luman, who played at Bucknell:

He also worked as a coach (or was going to...and probably still will):

If Seau joined the team as a PUP, would he count against the 80?

Ey, you breaka, you Bauta

Thank you very much thank you very much, I'll be here all week.

But seriously folks, Lavdrim Bauta is my instant favorite guy nobody ever heard of in camp this year. Come on man. We have had a weird-azz name gap since Tully Banta-Cain left for the Bay.

You need a lot of backup linemen in training camp considering there are five positions each for the ones, twos and threes and there is a lot of bumpin and bangin in the trenches.

I wouldn't consider this much more than a training camp depth and highly doubt it has anything to do with Nick Kaczur, specifically.
You're no fun at all.

Here's the scoop: When BB fills the 80th and last postion on the training camp roster, it means that the starters in the position are in BB's dog house.

How long have you been on this site, anyway? This is the second most important rule, right after the Pats should sign every player cut by every other team.

I agree. I find it hard to believe that Lavdrim Bauta is preventing Junior Seau from signing up again.
Pats singed Bauta and now cannot sign Seau because their roster is at 80. Someone must be cut before Seau can be signed.

Right, but I think he meant that if they were to bring Seau back, they could simply cut Bauta or someone else very easily.

BB must of owed Bill O'Brien a favor
