Two weeks ago, the Pats had:

21 | 54 | 85 | 127 | 158 170 | 200 210 | —

Then the Pats made a day 3 trade with the Texans:

21 | 54 | 85 | 127 | 158 | 183 200 210 | 245

Then Nike saw the ran on offensive talent and traded down with the Chiefs:

29 | 54 | 85 94 | 121 127 | 158 | 183 200 210 | 245

Right now, I expect a trade up at some point tomorrow.

And they did, moving up for Tyquan Thompson, giving up—of course—their fifth-rounder!

29 | 50 | 85 94 | 121 127 | — | 183 200 210 | 245

Next, the Panthers finally came calling so they could draft a QB, just two rounds later than my hypothetical.

29 | 50 | 85 | 121 127 137 | — | 183 200 210 | 245 + 2023 CAR 3

I now predict the Pats will trade up from 121, probably using 127 or 137, to get a LB.

I don’t see them on the board anymore, so 29 is gone for god knows what. All your 3rd rounders belong to us.

I thought I saw them off the board, sorry.

The ESPN draft tracker still has them up, as does NFL.com.

BTW, the KC trade is slightly in NE's favor on the Johnson chart, trading away 800 for 834 [using 4.16, and treating all comp picks as equal to the last pick of the round].

Charts lololol. We won trade value.,,,,Lolol…now do value of players actually picked
