My feeling since learning of Dungy's likely retirement - and the fact that his leaning that way was common knowledge in and around Indy - can be best captured by this:
"Wow. What a GUTLESS performance by that team."
Seriously, you go in as defending Super Bowl champs, to face an inferior opponent AT HOME, knowing full well that there's an excellent chance your beloved HC, Dungy, will be hanging it up after this post-season - and you put out THAT kind of effort??? REALLY? That is F-ing feeble.
Compare that to the amped-ness of the Pats' performance in week two, honoring and having the back of Belichick with a hugely emotional effort - "one of the most meaningful wins in my time with the Patriots," according to #54.
The Indianapolis Colts - what a gutless, pathetic bunch, at least on that day.
