Here's the next edition of the Early Mock Note that the Patriots have objectively fallen to pick #31. Good to see :rocker: .

Oakland: JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU: If the Raiders do not grab a QB in free agency, expect them to take this exciting prospect out of LSU.

Detroit: Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin: Rumors are spreading that the Lions like Thomas, and Detroit could go for this if they sign a QB in free agency.

Cleveland: Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame: The Browns hope that head coach Romeo Crennel was able to get the scoop about this QB from his old colleague, Charlie Weis, when he made this draft decision.

Tampa Bay: Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech: The most talented WR in the draft, and an easy pick for the Buccaneers.

Arizona: Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson: As the best tackle in the draft is gone, the Cardinals add a pass rusher to their defense who should add an immediate impact.

Washington: Alan Branch, DT, Michigan: Easy decision here. The Redskins need a presence in the middle and Branch is definitely a presence in the middle.

Minnesota: Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC: Another easy pick. The Vikings need a WR and Jarrett is the best WR on the board.

Houston: Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma: Houston is shocked that Peterson fell this far, and they will not make the mistake of passing on another elite runningback.

Miami: Leon Hall, CB, Michigan: The Dolphins could use some help in their secondary and Hall is the best player available at the position.

Atlanta: Laron Landry, S, LSU: Landry’s stock is soaring and the Falcons need help in their secondary.

San Francisco: Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio State: The 49ers have been looking for a good WR and Ginn fell right into their laps.

Buffalo: Levi Brown, OT, Penn State: Brown is a good offensive tackle who should give Buffalo some sorely needed help up front.

St. Louis: Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia: Moses is a game-changer and the Rams need a presence like that in their defensive front seven.

Carolina: Patrick Willis, MLB, Ole Miss: The Panthers could use an upgrade at linebacker and Willis could play either position for them.

Pittsburgh: Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska: The Steelers could use an upgrade at the DE position and Carriker is big and strong enough to play DE in the 3-4.

Green Bay: Marshawn Lynch, RB, California (not UCLA): The Packers need a rushing threat at RB and Lynch is an easy pick at this point in the draft.

Jacksonville: Paul Pozluszny, OLB, Penn State: Pat Thomas is not the ideal starter for the Jaguars and Pozluszny is the best player in the draft at the position.

Cincinnati: Quinn Pit****, DT, Ohio State: Pit**** is a tough DT who could improve Cincinnati’s rush defense drastically.

Tennessee: LaMarr Woodley, DE, Michigan: Woodley is a speedy DE prospect who could easily be the next Freak for the Titans.

New York Giants: Darrelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh: The Giants need desperate help in their secondary and Revis is one of the better cornerbacks to come out of college in recent years.

Denver: Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville: Okoye is exactly the type of prospect that Denver needs: a tough, pass-rushing DT.

Dallas: Justin Blalock, OG, Texas: The Cowboys need help all over their offensive line, and Blalock can help them at tackle or at guard.

Kansas City: Sidney Rice, WR, South Carolina: Though this would be a terrible pick, Rice’s speed and size would undoubtedly be attractive to the Chiefs, who need a solid deep threat for Green or Croyle to throw to.

New England: Reggie Nelson, FS, Florida: Urban Meyer should send a full recommendation of Nelson to Belichick, who knows that Eugene Wilson’s time has definitely passed.

New York Jets: Michael Bush, RB, Louisville: Bush is a massive runningback who should give the Jets an extra boost in the backfield.

Philadelphia: Michael Griffin, SS, Texas: Michael Lewis has expired and Griffin should be an immediate improvement at the position.

New Orleans: Lawrence Timmons, OLB, Florida State: Timmons has had great production at FSU, and New Orleans should be excited to pick him up in the draft.

Indianapolis: DeMarcus Tyler, DT, N.C. State: Lawson, Williams, and McCargo left N.C. State, but Tyler still performed.

Baltimore: Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas: Word of Jonathan Ogden’s impending retirement looms, and the Ravens could use a prospect at OT for his eventual replacement.

San Diego: Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU: San Diego lost last weekend because their wide receivers couldn’t catch balls; Dwayne Bowe has fantastic hands. Two plus two equals what?

New England: Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno State: McCauley is a speedy prospect who can help in the defensive backfield, especially if Asante Samuel takes off.

Chicago: Zach Miller, TE, Arizona State: I’m sticking with this pick because it hasn’t stopped making sense throughout the playoffs.

Oakland: Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee: Somehow, the Raiders still have no wide receiver production, even with Randy Moss and Jerry Porter on their roster.

Detroit: Troy Smith, QB, Ohio State: A very different quarterback from anyone that the Lions have had recently, Smith should add excitement to an offense in which excitement is lacking.

Tampa Bay: Victor Abiamiri, DE, Notre Dame: Abiamiri’s stock dropped a little over the course of the season, but he still has the talent to make it in the NFL.

Cleveland: Aaron Sears, OT, Tennessee: Sears is a strong run blocker and will add a blocking presence on the Browns’ offensive line.

New York Jets: Daymeion Hughes, CB, California: The Jets are still reeling from the loss of Ty Law and Hughes has fantastic hands for a cornerback.

Arizona: Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan: Staley is a tough talent at tackle who should help fill the large hole left by Leonard Davis in the off-season.

Minnesota: Steve Smith, WR, USC: Only one round after drafting his teammate, Dwayne Jarrett, the Vikings add Steve Smith to their roster as well.

Minnesota: Aaron Ross, CB, Texas: Addressing a non-WR with their second pick, Ross will add strength and speed to the Vikings’ secondary.

Houston: Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame: Houston looks to add talent to their offensive line. About time.

Buffalo: Fred Bennett, CB, South Carolina: Even if Clements doesn’t leave, Bennett would be a strong addition to the Bills’ secondary.

Atlanta: Jeff Samardzija, WR, Notre Dame: There are whispers that Samardzija is coming to a decision about playing football or baseball, lowering his stock & sending him down to Atlanta at #43.

San Francisco: Buster Davis, ILB, Florida State: Davis would be a good injection of youth to the 49ers linebacking corps, which is getting old at the ILB position.

New York Giants: Kenny Irons, RB, Auburn: The Giants’ runningback spot is vacated and Irons would be a good candidate to replace Tiki Barber.

St. Louis: Brandon Meriweather, S, Miami: The Rams draft this safety prospect from the U in the hopes that he can replace Adam Archuleta at safety.

Carolina: Chris Leak, QB, Florida: Leak’s impressive showing in the national championship game could rise his stock into the second-round range.

Pittsburgh: Josh Beekman, OG, Boston College: The Steelers failed to address their offensive line need in the 1st round and will thus do so in the 2nd .

Green Bay: Aundrae Allison, WR, East Carolina: The Packers are interested in the second-round project pick out of East Carolina at the WR position.

Jacksonville: Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State: Insurance at the QB position for the Jaguars, who worry that Garrard and Quinn won’t be able to make it once Leftwich takes off for Detroit or Baltimore.

Cincinnati: H.B. Blades, OLB, Pittsburgh: Blades should give a nice boost to the Bengals’ linebacking core, which is currently suffering to high levels of criminal activity.

Tennessee: Tarrell Brown, CB, Texas: Brown is another speedy cornerback prospect who should add some solidity to the Titans secondary.

Seattle: Ben Grubbs, OG, Auburn: Grubbs is an extremely tough offensive guard who could someday fill Steve Hutchinson’s shoes.

Denver: Charles Johnson, DE, Georgia: Quentin Moses’s partner-in-crime should give Denver a speedy defensive end prospect to help their pass rush.

Dallas: Anthony Spencer, OLB, Purdue: Spencer will compete for the other OLB spot that isn’t occupied by Demarcus Ware in Dallas.

Kansas City: Ryan Kalil, C, USC: Kalil is the best lineman available and Kansas City needs any lineman available.

New Orleans: David Harris, MLB, Michigan: A tackling machine, the New Orleans Saints should by no means be afraid to draft consecutive linebackers.

New York Jets: Jarvis Moss, OLB, Florida: Moss is a converted DE with great physical skills but no real experience at the elephant position.

Philadelphia: Tony Hunt, RB, Penn State: Hunt looks to be a good pick for the Eagles running game as a close-yardage runner.

Tampa Bay: Prescott Burgess, OLB, Michigan: Burgess is an ideal Cover 2 linebacker with both speed and coverage skills.

Baltimore: Brandon Siler, OLB, Florida: Siler should add a solid presence on the outside for the Ravens.

San Diego: Steve Breaston, WR, Michigan: Breaston’s agility and speed should prove an asset to San Diego’s new head coach a year from now.

New England: Dan Bazuin, OLB, Central Michigan: Bazuin has the athletic skills to play OLB in the NFL, and should be a good addition to New England’s linebacking corps.

Chicago: Dallas Baker, WR, Florida: Baker rounds out the second round of the draft as a new WR prospect for the Bears, who need more talent at the position.

Here's the next edition of the Early Mock Note that the Patriots have objectively fallen to pick #31. Good to see :rocker: .

I didn't realize the Pats had already lost the Super Bowl. :( :( :(

Other than the Pats picking at #31 I would love this draft.

The first three picks add a much needed boost to our back eight, and now the Pats could sit back and add a WR, and then, depending what falls into our laps, some more young LB depth, a blocking TE, and another RB to be groomed as Dillon'sreplacement/Maroney running mate.
