A charity event held by some linebacker or other. . . . :D

According to Tom Curran, over 40 Patriots-affiliated folks showed up for the event.

No photos of the bowling, but here's a cute photo from the event:

New England Patriots player Jerod Mayo, center, points out teammate Gary Guyton who joined in for a Mayo family photo on the red carpet during Thursday evening's Mayo Bowl at Kings in Dedham.

Now that's one hell of a group of Patriots to see out in public.

Former player Tully Banta-Cain? Let's just say this was written by a non-football fan.

Good to see Mayo getting involved with the community and charity work. That young man is going to be a core element of this team for years to come, along with big Vince.

Great to see Brown and Bruschi showed up. It would be pretty awesome if they turn out to have an ongoing involvement with this young group of players.
