    Uninformed is an understatment - the players union got the better end of the renegotiated CBA (by far, IMO).

    They sure did - proof is owners already saying it won't go beyond 2009 as written.
    Bryant Gumbel is a pompous ass.....I enjoy his brothers announcing and hosting though.

    I am uniquely qualified to make a (meaningless) connection here. Tagliabue's recently deceased cousin taught at Bates College in Maine, and Gumbel graduated from there. Not sure if Gumbel took a class with Tag.

    Gumbel IS A TOTAL MORON!!!

    It's amazing that he still has a job.

    I guess it's like teams that give big name crappy players repeated chances instead of no name players that have talent but haven't had a chance.
