PATRIOTS -10.5 v. Steelers
The Patriots can't run the ball. The Patriots can't stop the run. The Steelers are too physical for the Patriots. The streak will end on Sunday. Or so a growing chorus of experts predict. Uh, don't pop the champagne just yet annoying-and-ubiquitous '72 Dolphins. The Steelers are 1-3 in their last four road games with losses to the Cardinals, Broncos and J-E-T-S.
RAVENS +9.5 v. Colts
What do these two teams have in common? Well, they both do their best whining after losses to the Patriots. It was after the 2003 AFC Championship game that Tony Dungy and Bill Polian wailed so long and loud about the physicality of the New England DBs that the competition committee made illegal contact and defensive holding points of emphasis. So if the Ravens are truly upset about what they perceived as a ticky-tack call -- everyone else saw it as both holding and illegal contact -- they can take it out this week on their fellow crybabies.
