I would put Big Ben ahead of Rivers.Reothlisberger takes a beating more then Rivers does.I just think i rather have him in a big situation then Rivers.

They both came in to the league in 2004.Ben has been sacked 274 times.Thats ridiculous.Rivers has been sacked only 140.

5. Rivers - I still remain unconvinced, stats padded by no run game this year
6. Flacco
7. Cassel
8/9 I really can't separate Eli and Sanchez, they both make bad decisions on elementary plays and yet can each make a throw or play that makes them look stellar. Both are alarmingly inconsistent
10 Freeman - still too early to say though another year like this and he will jump 4 or 5 slots

Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Matt Cassel, Matt Ryan, Josh Freeman, Michael Vick, Eli Manning and Mark Sanchez.

Just curious. Make your list and rate these Qbs 1-10 with 1 being the best and 10 being the worst. My list above is in NO meaningful order, just listed them out even though Sanchez was listed last :p

Notice I didnt mention Brady and Manning. Totally different tangents.

Rate them based on what?
Their overall performance in 2010?
What I think their overall performance will be in 2011?
On who I think will perform the best over the next five years?
On who I think will be the most productive over their NFL careers?
On who I would take if I was GM of an expansion team?
On who I would want if I was GM of a playoff team?

Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Matt Cassel, Matt Ryan, Josh Freeman, Michael Vick, Eli Manning and Mark Sanchez.

Just a basic rating of all around performance play. You are making this simple question to complexed. nothing to deep and though bounding. Just look at them and rate them. easy

But Roth is more of a mobile QB, by nature he's going to take more sacks. On top of that he's had a terrible O-line.

Roesthlisberger will never ever be Tom Brady. I dc how many rings the man has.

of course he won't. i hope no one said that. he's an effective quarterback especially in clutch time but a decent qb overall.

thats honestly why i didn't include brady and manning. no point in comparing them

Sanchez better than Cassell? Care to explain that one? :p

The rest are really just hair splitting for the 5-9 slots.

Roesthlisberger will never ever be Tom Brady.

Not to us.

But make no mistake about it... if he wins his third on Sunday with a good/great performance, the nation outside of NE will not universally agree with our sentiment.

This has been one of the most talked about subjects everywhere, especially one the radio. I dont think he'll ever be brady either but he has a knack for winning when it counts. post-season record 10-2 i think.

Maybe brady has lost that edge in that aspect.

No Rodgers? I'd probably consider him up with Brady and Manning, especially if he wins Sunday.

I have to give Sanchez credit for being 4-2 in playoff games. Only reason.
