University of Connecticut defensive end Cody Brown, who's likely to make the shift to linebacker in the NFL, worked out for two teams last week. According to a source, the Denver Broncos linebacker coach, Don Martindale, flew in to put Brown through some drills on Friday, March 20, a day after the 6-foot-2, 244-pound defender worked out for the New England Patriots.

He has the initials to make some here happy :)

Combine numbers were very similar to Larry English. I think someone like this might be more likely than a day one pick (Brown seems to be a round 3-4 guy) as a higher pick still likely wouldn't be a 3 down player as a rookie then a developmental guy with solid upside makes sense to me.

I think he's a late 2 or early 3. Pioli may also be interested.

Heh. He doesn't have the TE skillz, though. ;)

Agreed. IBBWT, as we must.

McShay has Cody Brown graded out as an 80 (low second round pick).

McShay considers him to be the best pass-rushing OLB out of the group of Matthews, Cushing, Sintim and Curry but he did mention this in the context of 4-3 OLBs though.
