2014
- vs. Bal: 35 points, 422 yds, 29 first downs (W)
- vs. Ind: 45 points, 397 yds, 28 first downs (W)
- vs. Sea: 28 points, 377 yds, 25 first downs (W)

2015
- vs. KC: 27 points, 340 yds, 21 first downs (W)
- vs. Den: 18 points, 336 yds, 20 first downs (L)

2016
- vs. Hou: 34 points, 377 yds, 20 first downs (W)
- vs. Pit: 36 points, 431 yds, 26 first downs (W)
- vs. Atl: 34 points, 546 yds, 37 first downs (W)

It's very impressive how, during these last two SB runs, their offense has really done incredible work. Last two SB playoff runs, their lowest point total was 28 points, and that was against an all-time great Seattle defense, which was giving up just 15.8 points a game.

Those six games, the Pats averaged:

- 35.3 points a game
- 425 yards a game
- 27.5 first downs a game

That's just phenomenal offensive production, against some excellent teams.

Interesting to see it put up like that. KC didn't even do that well vs the Pats. That 27 is deceptive. KC won TOP and shortened the game a lot (they had it 38 minutes). The Pats only had 8 real drives in the game. Frankly they should have scored more anyway even counting that.

The only team that really stopped the Pats for 60 minutes is Denver at Denver. Just need 2 elite CBs and Von Miller to get home.

The Chiefs played small ball like the pats did, so it was 3rd and short so often the pats D were unable to get off the field.

...and for NE's entire receiving corps to be decimated, their OL to be missing players, their top 2 RBs to be out with injury, for the snap count to be given away, and for an XP to be missed.

...and most importantly, having the coach foolishly go for it on fourth and two late within field goal range

But aren't we always told, ad nauseam, that defense wins championships?
