The Patriots enter the 2009 draft with one of the most efficient and productive passing offenses in the National Football League.

Despite that embarrassment of riches, there are issues - both contractual and performance-based - that may lead New England to address the receiver position on the first day of the draft, scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, April 25th.

Here's a look at the players who will likely get taken on Saturday:

At the end of the day Pettigrew ran a 4.85. At that speed he can not stress the deep seam and he can not seperate from LBers. Let someone else draft a blocking TE.

Percy Harvin could be on the list of potential Patriots round 1 picks, but after the Chad Jackson fiasco it might be a few years before BB takes another dreaded Florida WR early in the draft.

Wouldn't go for Pettigrew before round 2. Robiskie as a late 2nd round pick (around 58) is ok, but WR is definitely NOT a priority for the Pats.

Were Jackson's problems because of the Urban Myers system, or were they because he was just not bright enough to read defenses and run a proper option run?

What about drafting Ingram the Florida TE? He comes from the same system.

Outside of the top 2 the only WR on day one that would excite me is DHB.
