O/T: A look back at a day in the life of 1984 Patriots Ron Wooten

That's pretty cool. Funny watching them work out in their lowers

I thought this was kind of a cool look back at the way it used to be.

A 5 minute video look back at a day in the life of Ron Wooten as a 1984 Patriot guard:

Classic Chronicle: Behind the scenes with the 1984 New England Patriots
Cool vid. Thanks for sharing it
That was great.

Ron Wooten's baby daughter is pushing 40 now. Damn....

84 season was crazy. Ron Meyer was fired mid-year. Berry takes over. Eason looked like the 2nd coming of Joe Montana only to fall back to earth.

I think that was year of that weird-ass free kick in Indy.
Those two guys celebrating with Steve Grogan in that middle picture up on the wall early in the report should have been inducted into the team hall of fame when they were alive.

Time has been kind to Ron Meyer. I know most of Hog's teammates felt the same way, but really anybody who's not Chuck Fairbanks is going to be a huge dropoff; Erhardt was obviously really well liked but along with his drinking problem, he was in over his head as a head coach.

Ron was not in favor of drafting Eason, and neither was I. And he brought Scar with him here from SMU. So I say bravo. Berry worked overall, except of course for suicidally, repeatedly and absurdly starting Eason over astronomically better, healthy and available quarterbacks (with initials S.G. & D.F).
