But that's not the case. If it were, it would have been cited. The NFL fined him simply for wearing the wrong headphones and, in the process of doing so, fined him more than a player that injured someone with a block that you know not to make in Pee Wee.
His behaviors over the last year or so are a red herring. They're totally irrelevant to the topic at hand
The fine was likely based on a habitual offenses, he regularly wears beats headphones to the podium either with tape or without, this was likely the final straw on that front. I am sure he was warned, he likely chose to press the issue, well it cost him $10K. Next time maybe he will listen.
As far as his behaviors being irrelevant that is like saying someone’s prior record does not apply in a court case. My logic is simple if someone regularly goes against the rules his union agreed to he deserves to be fined and the fact he broke the rules in a pink color does not matter. Thomas made 1 chop block, I could post 2 dozen photos of Kaepernick wearing beats headphones.
