Just want to toss this out there. Next season we all pitch in $10 real dollars to participate. Winner gets to donate it to his/her's favorite charity ***cough...cough...Miguel"*** (mg looks away from the screen) but honestly that would be cool. Put some skin in the game and do a good thing.

Just a thought...during the holidays. Hope everyone and theirs is doing well!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Oh, and for the Jewish dude that hangs out like our weird drunk uncle... @Patjew jew happy Hanukkah sir... save some wine for the rest of us.

We had toyed with the idea at the beginning of this season. I believe @Hyped had brought up the idea of a small buy in with the winner getting the money. I asked Ian, offering to donate the money to the site. But there were some legal reasons why it was not a good idea for him.

If there is some way to open up a place to hold everyone's money, I would be all for it. But it would have to have nothing to do with Patsfans the site. I'm sure we could still run the contest thru here as usual.

I definitely do not want to be the person handling or responsible for the money though. If someone else does it, I would definitely be for it. Even $10 each would be fun. And I agree, making it for charity would be great. Winner gets to choose the charity?

Honestly, if it was for charity, I'd put in $100 just to cover those who can't or don't want to part with any money.

I now remember that. I was talking to my buddy tonight about this and he asked what does the winner get. I told him...and we started talking about the possibility the winner gets some money then place by place etc.. but I immediately thought no way Ian allows that because that is gambling. And I am sure he is not licensed for that.

But, charity is totally different as far as I understand from owning a bar. We can establish an escrow or trust someone not to be a ****...er degenerate. Cough Ian Cough. I don't know but I think that is what we should do next year!. I'll hold the money. If needed, I don't know. Maybe we establish a dingleberry escrow with a few of you near each other and the release of the money takes two people. There are options.

But honestly man you have established an epic deal. Hell we can ask the trolls to participate as well. Its endless. But its an honor to you Mr. Dingleberry. I believe we can make this a really good thing, for everyone. And we don't have to put Ian in a ****ty spot. Charity is the answer.

I would really love to turn this into something for charity.

I'll bring this up in the next Results thread to see if there are any other ideas how to go about this. Let's do this!

I’ll run it on the side (wink wink) next season.

I will just set up a venmo/cash app/whatever account as an escrow .

No big buy ins….just like $5-$10 per participant with some sort of
Pay out structure for 1/2/3 at the end as well as “weekly winners”…..

I don’t wanna maintain an escrow account of 1K+…sumthin like 750-800 would be ideal…a little V day bonus for y’all to buy wifey some roses or hubbys!!!

gotta watch out holding real money...never know what kind of lunatic is out there just waiting to pounce...

I'm in for this, Venmo to charity works for me.
We'll go off Ian's weekly deal and go from there....
