True. I'm not complaining or anything but ultimately that should have been a quick catch and first down. Receiver simply botched it.

Come on now, no it wasn't.

It certainly didn't start well, but it was a very Patriots-esque play in the way that they were aware of what their responsibilities were, and capitalized on what happened. So in that sense, it was a great defensive play, even though they were beaten downfield.
