Both TEs were wide open on that play because the defense bit on the fake. That's the thing when you have those guys. You can basically use them as steamrollers, so opposing Ds have to respect the run in that formation. And when they respect it too much, you get... that

It didn't even evoke the rule - it wasn't his second personal foul. He just got ejected because they felt like ejecting him, I guess.
