No, Tony Romo did not hang up on the Baltimore media - Dallas Cowboys Blog - ESPN Dallas

Tony Romo had to deal with yet another controversial drop Wednesday.

This time, it was a phone call, not a football.

Romo's conference call with reporters who cover the Ravens ended abruptly after 37 seconds. Several members of the Baltimore media tweeted that Romo hung up on them after two questions, but that wasn't the case.

The Cowboys public relations staff provided a tape of the call, which was interrupted by loud static after 37 seconds while Romo was answering a question about his inconsistency. ("Well, I think our team just has to continue to execute a little bit better than we've been ...")

At that point, Romo said, "Hello? Hello?" He stayed on the line for another two minutes, at one point saying, "I can't hear anything."

Romo will hold another conference call with the Baltimore media later this afternoon, when he will give boring answers about execution that will surely be worth the wait.

Maybe the call was intercepted in CHICAGO

I, breathlessly, clicked on this thread and immediately lost a billion brain cells, that I can not afford to lose........I want them back:steamed:

Apparently it's not just Baltimore fans that are so paranoid that the world is out to get them and everything is a conspiracy, but the Baltimore media has similar personality characteristics.

Phone line went dead in a middle of a sentence?

Yep, the only possible explanation could be that he hung up on us.

For some reason I find it hard to believe that phone service is so perfect in Baltimore that none of them have ever once experienced a dropped call.
