Comcast says "the NFL is pretty powerful sports monopoly." Well if that's the case, then I would have to call Comcast a "very powerful monopoly". Just look at the differences in their lobbying efforts: the NFL spent $1.1 million on three lobbyist firms, while Comcast spent $12.5 million on over 30 lobbyist groups.
Funny how Comcast and Time Warner would have you believe the NFL is charging two or three dollars per subscriber, when it is actually 70 cents. It's also funny that the NFLN wouldn't lower that fee just get a foot in the door, and then raise it a year or two later.
