How Ready Are The Patriots For The Regular Season?
Bob George
Even though the Patriots have a brutal first four games on their schedule (road games at Miami, Pittsburgh and Green Bay, and a home date with Baltimore), the Patriots could go 2-2 here and be in good shape moving forward.

2-2 is optimistic at this point. 1-3 if we can steal one. I hope I'm dead wrong.

3-1…I’m an apologist…I think

I think that we have more talent on the Offense than last year. The major difference is clear. To be clear, I expect us to compete for a playoff spot.

QB - better with a more experienced starter
RB - we added Strong and Montgomery (for some of the year)
WR - Parker replaced Harry
TE - the same
OL starters - Is Strange-Onwenu worse than Karras-Mason?
OT - Are we better off with Brown at LT, and Wynn at RT? I would have liked to see us run behind the block the sun pair of Brown and Onwenu
OL backups - this story isn't over; I expect us to add another player or two
coaching and scheme - We won't know for months or perhaps even this year.

With the way they are playing, 0-4 would not surprise me.
Tua has never lost to NE.

His job is on the line for good this season and you know that Miami will want to showcase Waddle and Hill. Crazy how Cam won there in September when it was so hot.

They lost in Miami that year. Dolphins also have an underrated D and will cause problems for this offense.
