I know I would feel better if the team added one or two. Would anyone have an interest in any of these:

ILB Jamie Sharper
Had big seasons as 3-4 inside guy in Houston. Injured last season as SLB in Seattle's 4-3.

ILB Earl Holmes-
Was a 3-4 inside guy in Pittsburgh. Starter in middle for Lions 4-3.

ILB Donnie Edwards
Chargers probably want too much. June 1st cut ahead?

Orlando Ruff
Split time as ILB in Cleveland's 3-4 in '05.

Others:
WLB/SLB Mark Brown Jets
WLB Tommy Polley Ravens
SLB Junior Seau Dolphins
MLB/SLB Chris Claiborne

I would be interested in seeing us bring Chris Claiborne in. If I remember right he has played both inside and outside. At 255, he could easily play OLB for us.

I expect the Pats to pick up a couple of LB's after June 1st.

If I'm not mistaken the big knock on Claiborne is he lacks the desire to do all that is required to reach his vast potential. If true, he's probably not high on BB's wish list.

Pretty sure that Ruff was signed by Arizona.

you might be right

well Skins got some nice LBs..3 are competing for same spot. Rocky McIntosh was their 2nd rounder..hes staying. Now Warrick Holdman resigned for a 1 or 2 yr deal i believe..Chris Clemons is always fighting..1 will likely be unhappy i hope and be released or traded..hopefully Holdman

Not a bad topic choice for a first post kazz...

Such as they can afford multiple signing bonuses, I'm of the mind to bring in a few guys who want the chance to prove themselves, and let the competition do its work

That's a luxury being so far under the cap this year affords us - we might as well use it to our advantage

Different guy. That's Orlando Huff. He's a former Seahawk who played weakside for Zona last season. Both are average, at best.

Claiborn imo is one of the most talented LBs out there. The question is his work ethic and desire. I think that's why he signed the big contract but got cut the next year. Maybe BB could coach some sense into him but most likely he will go for some blue collar post camp cuts.

I'd love to see Edwards here if he is either released or the Chargers reduce what they are asking for him.
