Kraft Quotes Today

thats what makes this annoying. Whoever is deserving ? Why not say he hopes brady plays on opening day ?

I bet Brady is kicking himself he took less money to stay here.
What an enormous douche Bobbo is turning out to be.

Brady doesn't care about the money. He did it for his team, not Kraft's.

I still like my hypothetical, which btw I ran by a 49ers fan today at the golf course. He liked it a lot.

Belichick trades Brady for a 1st round pick to the 49ers (his original dream team) and Brady ends up playing in SF for his 5th ring in SB 50.

I so surprised that someone who is spineless and has no loyalty to his players. Should have anything he says taken serious. I'm sure he cleared what he said thru Goodell first.

Here's Ol' Blue Eyes singing Bob's song dedicated to Goody and the Jetsons.

Pats should give Kraft his own jersey with the # 31.

I don't like the Pats in yellow.

Maybe Goody will give him one in gang green, or whatever color the NFL is using these days.

Every time Kraft speaks he makes his Pats supporters look worse.

Just be quiet Bob, please.

Well, very vague statement, what can we read from that? Nothing, but I would think things are not in a good mood between them. I wonder how is Belichick dealing with it in the middle of this fire. He is the ultimate professional and know how to separate things, but he is in a unique position being part of the team as a coach and the front office as GM.

Benedict Bob only wants Tom on the field if it doesn't involve the courts against his bosom buddy, Roger. Which is likely impossible.

So **** Kraft, per usual.

Just be quiet Bob, please.

Thats kinda how I feel. Just keep paying the players, coaches, operational staff and the stadium mortgage, Bob so the team is in the best position to kick ass in 2015 and STFU.

Offering stupid-ass, fence-hanging, cryptic, corporate-speak doesn't help your public image.

Bob Kraft - The Stepford owner.

In stadiums near you...

This is another example of why I've become more of a lurker than participant. It's hard to keep interested when the fans seem to care more about the team and its players than the owner. Most of what I hear, see or read about the Pats usually just makes me annoyed, angry, or pissed off, since the owner has informed me that he has accepted that I am a fan of a team that cheats, regardless of the lack of evidence. How can I defend my team when the owner refuses to do so.

It is almost incomprehensible how one extraordinarily bad decision has undone 20 years of extraordinarily good ones. Intellectually it really doesn't seem fair, but emotionally I can't help it. As off right now I don't want to hear word one from the man. He has killed the passion for a team I followed passionately since the day it was founded in 1960 when I was 12.

Now I don't follow much of anything about the NFL because I know its likely that when the Pats are mentioned, it's likely nothing good will be mentioned, and the injustice of that annoys me.. The Patriots and "deflategate" are now irreversibly linked, and unless or until I can come to terms with that I can only allow myself to remain at an arms length, or my head will explode.

On a side note, the more I think about it, the idea that some have offered that we send a message to the NFL and Bob Kraft by boycotting the opening game seems more viable than ever.. The image of Goodell showing up to a totally empty stadium in front of a national TV audience is kind of delicious, in a dark way.

It's not a totally comfortable thought since on the other hand I'd like to show the rest of country and Goodell how strongly we support the PLAYERS and coaches who have been so badly represented by their league, players association and owner.. But it seems to me that Goodell will never allow Brady to play in that opener, and as good a prospect as JG is, IMHO still a year away from being ready to beat a good Steeler team, even at home.,

Maybe this is just a sign of the passage of time. There was a time I would pour over the box scores every game. Know every player and most of their stats. Over the last decade or so, I have the most casual of interest in the Sox and couldn't name half the roster let alone know their stats. Now days I wait until September before I decide whether to invest any energy on them. Maybe when September rolls around the darkness might lift a bit, or maybe I'll just wait until December to see ifs worth investing in this season. All I know is I have a lot more time on my hands these days, and I'm not sure I'm putting it to good use. ;) I hope all of you are well.

Yeah, this about sums it up.

This is some thinly disguised attempt to show support for Brady because......like.....Patriots fans are important. Notice the comments about the last 22 years vs the first 34 years.

The reality is the caving press conference was so bad nothing Kraft could ever say or do will reverse that debacle.

What's interesting is all he really needed to say is that the Patriots will not appeal because he was so stupid for agreeing to the league protocols.

Now, it really is best to just sit there and shut up.

Why would anyone cut a good contract deal with the Patriots?

The Pats should trade for a 4th rounder in 2016 and a 1st rounder in 2017, that would be awesome. I know in 2016 they will be in the top end of the draft and in this hypothetical scenario in the bottom end in 2017 after Brady, and I know he's worth more than that, but it would be awesome anyway if this combination is part of the package.

I would advocate separating the Patriots from Kraft and the NFL.

I have not watched NFLN or (ESPN for that matter) since this whole debacle came to fruition. I haven't been to nfl.com and don't plan on it.

I will not watch any non Patriots crap and frankly.....the league can go screw it.

Make it a point to not shop at Patriot Place. Let Roger and his other brothers support it.

As far as opening night, 68,000 FU Kraft....FU Roger chanting would be perfect.

Nice milquetoast answer Bob. You're the owner. Either own up the deflation issue or stand by Brady like any decent person would. If you don't believe Brady anymore, then quit straddling the fence and own it either way.

In reading the whole article Reiss posted, I don't think this particular quote is fair. It looks wishy-washy, but when viewed alongside everything else, it seems clearer to me that Kraft is supporting Brady & the team. He's not doing so passionately, but I wouldn't expect that from Bob Kraft. He's putting out statements that won't ruffle any other owner's feathers, but still support his guys.

I know we all want him to bring the heat against the NFL, but clearly he doesn't think that's a viable option. IMO I would rather he remain reserved and do what he can when he can. Dragging things out to no avail would simply have been feeding the media. Instead, with his relative inaction, we are getting stories like "Shaq deflated his basketballs" etc. The media has to dig for their stories, and the further you dig with this thing, the more apparent it is that it's BS.

Eventually we will get to court and Brady & team will attempt to reveal the truth, but I don't see the need for the team to puff out their chests and bang their drums until then. I guess I'm in the extreme minority.

While, rationally, I agree with you. Being a fan isn't about being rational.
Hence we have the hatred of the sports world pinned against us. Thus, it's either stand with or against. (I did say I wasn't wanting to be rational here, right? :)
