I'm actually shocked at how many people are jumping on the Dunlap bandwagon now, I was bashed not that long ago for talking so highly of him, oh well without further ado..

CARLOS DUNLAP
Austen Lane
Corey Wooton
Al Woods
Linval Joseph
Emmanuel Sanders
Jon Asamoah
Rob Gronkowski

Chris Cook, CB
Braden Ghee, CB
Amari Spievey, CB
Perrish Cox, CB
Javier Arenas, CB
Kevin Thomas, CB
Walter Thurmond, CB
Joshua Moore, CB

Apparently the Pats are going to keep picking CBs until they can find some that can actually play.

This is a classic post! Made me spew some coffee!

Saffold or Charles Brown (if Light is traded to KC for their 2nd pick which gives us and additional 2nd)
Dunlap or Wootton or Austin Lane or Price
Misi or Te'o-nesheim or Sapp or Daryl Washington
McCluster or Javier Arenas
Andre Roberts or Damian Williams or Eric Decker or Mardy Gilyard

We have 4 picks in the 2nd & 3rd, from 44-90. How about 2 stabs at each -- name 8 players you expect the Pats to take in that 47-pick range. It SHOULD be easy to hit some, right? :p

oh god, you $%&*

Right then, let's make a fool of myself.

I like Roberts a lot. Coming from the Citadel, you know he can follow orders and is very disciplined.

They are also guys Gosselin has rated between 40 (Misi) and 81 (Roberts). We currently pick between 44 and 90. We also have 114 and with a little luck maybe another 4th. The round is predicted to start out with 2 QB's going off the board early as well as the remaining 2-3 best OT's. That could help us in more ways than one. and push some of our targets down a few slots.

I really think Bill is on a mission this year to add no turds or inconsistent motors or guys to whom football matters but not as a sole focus no matter how talented... I think that was what put McCourty over the top on his CB rankings, that whatever it takes mentality along with pretty good talent at the CB position. On Dale and Holley this AM they were talking about Pioli's pick of the safety at #5. They said the tipping point was character and intangibles. Told a story of how when he was scouting he would ask to talk to people like equipment managers, secretaries, groundscrew... He wanted to know what they were like apart from on the field. In the case of his S this year he was told the kid came in on his own time to help out in the equipment room. Some think Bill misses Scott, but it's not for the reason they think. Bill by nature might be more inclined to make exceptions for talent. Scott wasn't. That might even be one of the reasons he finally left to do it entirely his way.

I'll try...

Carlos Dunlap
Corey Wootton
Tony Moeaki
Dennis Pitta
John Asamoah
Roger Saffold
Charles Brown
Eric Decker

Given that my next binkie - Saffold and Misi - will be long gone before #44 . . .

My next 8/9 (regardless of Gosselin Top 100 ranking) would be:

Damian Williams
Ben Tate
Dennis Pitta
Toby Gerhart
Ricky Sapp
Andre Roberts
Alex Carrington
Torrell Troup
Dorin ****erson

If you're looking at PFW rankings, include Jamar Chaney in there. If you're looking at GBN rankings, Misi is still in this mix. I'd let go of Damain Williams for either of those guys.

With the plethora of OL available I'm adding

Jared Veldheer & Asamoah too

Damian Williams
Matt Tennant
Anthony Dixon
Dennis Pitta
Jordon Shipley
Corey Wootton
Jon Asamoah
Donald Butler
