I'm still not convinced Edelman's hands are good enough to make up for his lack of size, speed or hops. But I'm sure rooting for him to get there.

And considering how recently he was converted to WR, I'm still hopeful that he will. He's not that far off.

I honestly do not understand some people on this board. Edelman's hands are clearly better than Welker's. 2 or 3 of his 6 "drops" this year were bogus - bad passes in inclement weather, that would've gone for minimal gains anyway.

And what's this lack of size, speed, and hops you refer to? He blows both Welker and Amendola away in all those areas (well, he doesn't blow them away in size, but he's still slightly bigger than both).

I think a lot of the Edelman apprehension is simply displaced Welker love. Can't fix that.

Just ask yourself, MHK, where the Patriots would be this year without Edelman. He has proved himself again and again and again. When will it be enough for you?

Edelman sucks.

70 receptions, 711 receiving yards, 10.15 average, 4 touchdowns… We need more players that suck!
Sorry for my failure to express sarcasm. Edelman is a terrific football player.
