Patriots injury report - Reiss' Pieces - Boston.com

The Patriots released their Friday injury report:

Out
LB Eric Alexander (hamstring)
LB Adalius Thomas (forearm)

Doubtful
RB LaMont Jordan (calf)

Questionable
LB Tedy Bruschi (knee)
C Dan Koppen (elbow)
CB Mike Richardson (concussion)
DE Richard Seymour (toe)
S Ray Ventrone (concussion)

Alexander, Jordan, Richardson and Thomas did not participate in today's practice. Bruschi and Seymour were limited in today's practice. Koppen and Ventrone had full participation.

NT Vince Wilfork, who was listed on the team's Thursday participation report for non-injury related reasons, was removed from the injury report.

The Dolphins listed one player -- TE David Martin -- on their injury/participation report. He did not practice Friday but it was not injury related.

Lamont jordan i thought recovered a couple of weeks ago and now is back to doubtful. Morris has come back sooner than him. Wonder what has happened.

I think he actually has a calf lodged in his sphincter. Still shows up as calf, but is a good deal worse than what we've been thinking...

Evidently Richardson and Ventrone suffered concussions on the same kickoff.

Anybody know which play Bruschi's knee was injured?

Seymour is the only one in that group that really has be concerned.

Bruschi doesn't have you concerned with his blazing speed and raw athletic ability?

How about lightning fast play-diagnosis?

Well that he is still brilliant at. The guy is a smart, smart football player. God, I miss the days when he combined those brights with said blazing speed and raw athletic ability. Bruschi was my favorite linebacker from '01-'04 and I will always look back on those years fondly.

Koppen, but he was playing in the 2nd half after injuring the elbow. No Bruschi would leave us dangerously thin at LB.

I'm very, very disappointed that Alexander & the "quick healer" weren't IRed or waived w/ inj. settlements during the week, so that 2 healthy bodies, incl. at least one OLB, could have been signed & acclimated during the extra 2 days of prep. Disappointed, but alas, not surprised.
