Interesting. Is JavaScript enabled? It's supposed to hide that sidebar below a certain resolution, so you shouldn't even see it.No problem with firefox here at home. IE8 was very bad at work, so I switched to firefox there for this site.
But the below shot is IE8 where the text slides behind the tweetage.

Edit: Think I figured this one out. Working today and tomorrow but should be able to solve it Monday when I'm off.
