Rookie kid turns into a critical piece for our OL this season. So much so, his knee injury during the Ravens gave causes panic attacks. His return to the SB lineup results in a collective sigh of relief across the entire Patriots nation.
After THE interception, euphoria all around..BUT, there's still 18 seconds on the clock with the ball at the one yard line. Too close for a a kneel down, real danger of a safety or worse! NE takes a time out. Offense packs in for the most important huddle ever. Line up. Brady executes a masterful hard count. Instantly, Stork jerks his head in most convincing fake snap I have ever seen! Bennett bites to encroach, and THAT finally seals the game, the season, the legacy!
In the half second that follows, Brady gently pumps his fist in the realization that now the game is truly ours. Stork on the other hand cannot contain himself and throws a massive celebratory air jab!
Next play, before the brawl breaks out, Stork and Brady's concentration at the snap is unmistakeable. Stork hands over, Brady downs the knee in a nanosecond, while Stork completely smashes the Seattle NT like an enraged pitbull. And then at the final snap, Stork practically teleports the ball to Brady, and then launches himself at the entire Seattle inner Dline.
Tiny, almost overlooked events in the scheme of things. Yet critical to the victory. Such boss execution!
