No information about the details of positions being staked out by either side or how the discussions are going, besides editorial speculation that Brady will probably not accept a suspension of any length. But I think it's news at least that the NFL is apparently trying to avoid a court case by including an agreement not to sue as part of a settlement. I am skeptical that this comes to anything.

Sources have told FOX Sports the NFL Players Association and the NFL have had an open line of communication in recent days regarding a potential settlement of Brady's four-game ban for his alleged role in the Deflategate scandal. This follows reports from last week that stated the NFLPA's proposal was ignored by the league office.
