The bookies are causing locker room board material for opposing teams

It appears ever since NE has become these 20+ popint favorites the opposing teams are truly insulted and play thier hearts out - When the line was under 20 we won much easier.

Its crap like the non respect the bookies give opposing teams that come back and fire up the other teams.

I wish all lines would have a limit to what they can give in points when it comes to pro football like no more than 17

Lets face it,If you are on a mediocre team and are getting 20+ points, especially at home its gonna piss you off for the feeling of disrespect and make you want to kick the favorites butt

And in the past two weeks of 20+ spreads, thats EXACTLY whats happening

Prideful Teams DO NOT want to be anywhere near a 20 point spread that NE covers and they are playing like its thier last game ever, even if they do end up losing by a few points.

After all, this is NOT college ball,These are professional athletes making millions of $$$ a year and to say that they did not cover a 20+ point spread would be a disgrace to the city of the team and all its fan base - So far NE has NOT been able to cover a 20 point spread..and I don't know if they will.

Think Polian is behind it?

Can't agree with you more!! I hate those spreads!! With all the intensity and ferocity every Sunday, why amp it up further that might lead to injuries for our players?? Just hate it.

Don't worry it won't be more than 3.5 next week.

new to the board,

michael, I've seen two lines so far, one was 13.5 and the other was 14.

I think the whole “We played the Pats tough despite a crazy point spread!” mystique is gone now.

2 weeks in a row now. I doubt it’s as big as a factor as it was prior to the last 2 weeks.

pats by 16?.. my goodness... as a pats fan im offended... i should be around 22-23:D

Are you kidding me? This should be locker room material for us! We are only favored by 14 against the Steelers??? After how they've played for the last month? IN FOXBORO? Jesus, that's a slap in the face...We should be favored by at least another field goal...Don't the bookies respect perfection????
