The Cardinals have requested interviews with both Patricia and Flores.

Flores called plays in the last preseason game, and would seem to be the logical successor to Patricia if he leaves.

Josh Boyer would be the logical choice and he has been here longer than Flores.

I remember how Boyer used to get a lot of angry posts directed at him when the secondary struggled earlier in the decade, but that all died-down pretty quickly.

He would make an excellent head coach. Extremely knowledgeable, and organized. Great with players.

He needs a great GM to help him, though!

I doubt the cardinals are smart enough to hire him.

If Flores were unavailable, unless Patrick Graham returned I'd expect someone out of the organization like Schiano. It won't be Boyer.

Surprised to hear that Flores might leap frog into a HC position.. this may be more about the Cardinals kicking the tires than anything else, but it may also help Flores feel very confident in his ability with this recognition.

OTOH may signal the end for Palmer(age 38) and Fitzgerald (age 34), as not sure either want to learn a new offensive system...
