Good to see they are taking care of the big players first.

I like this signing.......DB's are shoring up nicely. A late day 1 draft should settle it. Hey, NE front office...... How about some FA WR's? Everyone knows this upcoming draft is weak in the WR group. Hmmmmmmmm. What's going on here?:rocker:

Hey, we have Bam Childres, this guy is going to light it up next season.

It's quite possible. How many of us thought going into the 2003 season that David Givens would become the stalwart he was?

Oh, I know. They should have spent the past 3 months trying to work out a deal with Seymour and Branch. Who needs the rest of the team anyway? Let's just give those guys $100 million each. No other players deserve the money. That whole "team" concept is over-rated anyway. Never got the Pats anything.

Did you stop to think that this "signing" just means that Randall Gay signed the ERFA tender he was given? The only way we will KNOW is when we find out if it was for a deal that is longer than a year. If it is, then we know that negotiations took place. If not, then it was for the ERFA tender amount and its not a big deal.

Also, as was pointed out some weeks ago, the Patriots can't sign Seymour to an extension until August because of the change in his contract that took place last August. For all we know, the Patriots and he have come to a contract agreement.

There you go again Chris, stirring up controversy! ;)
