With all the love being bestowed on writers like Breer the last few days, it seems like a good time for a gentle prod...

Folks have been pasting in a lot of whole blog posts from Breer, Reiss et all during camp. Please post a link instead! (With an excerpt, summary or commentary as you please). For Reiss, click on the word "link" after the post to get a URL specific to that post; for the Herald blog click on the post title.

Not only will you be keeping this site out of heaps of copyright violation trouble, but you'll be voting with your clicks. If you want the papers to understand that there is an audience out there for serious football coverage, traffic to good writers/articles is the best way to send the message.

A link and no more than 10% is what I've heard, but i think you can take a little leeway with the excerpts.

Don't paste 1/2 the article, for instance.
