Re: NFL officials
Any real Pats fans that believe some of the things posted in this thread would say it tarnishs 3 Super Bowl rings. Raiders fans could make a case against the Pats. The Pats age at LB showed against the Colts. Thats why they lost. The NBA is fixed ! NFL no way..."When " the...
The Colts weakness against the run wasnt Freeney. It was Gilbert Gardner at LB and Raheem Brock getting pancaked ever block. Insert Rob Morris LB and Dan Klecko Dt both good (not great players)
Tom Brady has been played in a system where the short passing game is what he does best. Could I be wrong in thinking changing philosophy could actually hurt the patriots more because of Tom being a great short game passer. Ive watch Brady long enough to know he has never really had a true deep...
Your Patriots team is looking like on one the greatest teams ever assembled. They should be the favorites. If they dont win it all. Something is wrong. As a Colts fan, I can only hope the Colts have one of the greratest offensive season ever to ensure they out score you guys. Times are good as a...
I say roll and pass it this way. As long as they are sacking qbs and catchin TDs on sunday. Dont hurt anyone while doing it. Have fun. Oh yeah lets legalize the stuff.
Not to worry. Even Colts fans are homers :P I like people thinking the Colts got worse. If losing Doss(non starter), Harper(injured most of playooffs), David (lost starting job twice while in Indy), June (Mr Cant tackle) means the end, so be it. We"ll see how it turns out.
I would agree losing Harper will hurt but anyone that watched the Colts could tell you. Mike Doss was the primary reason the Colts lost to the Steelers in the 2006 playoffs. I like the kid Tim Jennings. He was the fastest cb in the 2006 draft , he was drafted in the second round because of his...
Ive been at indystar over 4 years. Most of the trolls come and say some bs .02 and leave without returning. There are a few pats fans that have my repsect for their opinions. The others are just stirring **** to make themselves feel better. This is a nice forum for the most part. IMHO MMMkay?
Although Stallworth can score some TDS. He has only one move. Vertical. If youre looking for a guy to move the chains, he isnt your guy. Wes Welker is a chain mover.
LB Timmons is probably your guy at 28. I know for a fact because the Patriots are sure to try and screw my Colts out of another player aka Marooney last year. The kid will be a stud in a couple of years.
Yes, McFarland would start over Warren on my team.JMHO Sounds like youre trying to provoke a fight. Youre the one throwing out stats. Admit it, you were wrong about Mathis not having almost twice as many sacks. Anyways on a parting note. Im not a coward. Ill admit if Im wrong. I said nothing to...
Again not talking X and Os. But if I must in a base 4-3 I would start. Freeney, McFarland, Wilfork, Seymour. So, would you start Warren in a 4-3 over Freeney and Mathis on passing downs?
Yes, I would take McFarland over Warren. Im not ducking anything. The Mathis reference was to make a point. Its not always about stats. You probably think Mathis is better then Freeney then? Oh and Freeney had 5.5 sacks in the regular season. Mathis had 9.5...Thank you. Here is the link...
Last I check. McFarland has 2 rings. Played on one of the most dominate Defenses in modern age in Tampa. Freeney is on pace to smash the sack record. Saying McFarland isnt a difference maker is laughable.
Huh? Mathis had almost twice as many sacks as Freeney. Even I know some players command double teams and make other players look better. Freeney is a difference maker, Mathis benefits from him being on the opposite side. If not for injuries Seymour would make Warren look average. I dont need...
Change of venue can do wonders for a career. Some names come to mind. Steve Young, Chris Carter. Davis turned the corner last year. If you watch any of their last few games last year you might think differently.
