probably because they thought it wasn't the greatest need pick-someone who was rated much higher slid to the pats and they grabbed him but there are certainly other positions where more help is needed. that's why a B+ instead of an A......
kraft has stated many times the only reason he bought the team was because there was a salary cap. he was not interested in getting into a league with unlimited spending on players. thankfully he hired a coach who knows more about the ins and outs of that cap than anybody else. time has shown he...
I am sorry, but in light of the every day reporting(it seems) and continual stories linking hernandez to a lot of unsolved murders or past crimes, I at least get what he was trying to say- enough already with the lousy news about our team and our player. I didn't find as offensive as everybody...
I guess their crystal ball was broken and they didn't know that a player who had caused no problems for them was going to get involved in a homicide(damn, where is the psychic network when you need it!)
having seen him play regularly in college , I do believe he could have been an impact player in many ways. my real question is this, how much does running track pay and does it anyway compare to what a success in the nfl could bring? if he wanted to be a track star why did he even bother to...
here's a fact- every player is one play away from a season(or career) ending injury. every player is a crap shoot on whether they stay healthy or not.
win or lose it is a joy to watch this team every year- we all need to be thankful we dont follow the jets, browns, rams ,titans, oh hell, any other team! quality and effort year after year. thanks:)
he's got you writing about him- i'd say for an opinion writer that's a home run. why hate on someone who writes something you don't agree with? read it, don't read it, whatever-the man has a right to make a living and if someone is paying him for it, who are you to disagree?
it was never "magic"- it was a team working together to get it done. this is a different team that needs to work harder to correct their mistakes and finish the job. i'll bet they succeed.:mad:
goodell is an employee of the owners- he does exactly what they want him to do(like a high paid employee should do). the fault is with the owners- if it isn't goodell it would be someone else.;)
has the whiff of an often injured, never quite reaching his potential so-so running back who leaves the pats, heals up nicely and has a hall-of-fame career. sorry, did that sound like sarcasm?
any amount is worth it here in florida to not have to watch the jaguars, the bucs , or the dolphins. $199 for the season is a downright steal and godsend!!:)
