Re: Logan Mankins signs tender
Mankins is as good as his word. If he puts the Pats uni on, he will give it his all. What kind of shape he is in is another question. A good hay season might be the answer to the Patriots season.
Lots of excitement here over this signing, all though I guess with whats happened this off season (nothing) most pats fans would be excited if they signed a price checker from the local Walmart.
What a joke, this is what I have been waiting for the past 4 months?
Should be an interesting season, Brady must be in his glory with all of these weapons, could the team please pick up someone who understands that we have the best QB in the game. GIVE HIM SOME GD WEAPONS.
Hard to believe some of the homers would even try and spin this.
"IT IS WHAT IT IS" Belichick is not the man to be calling the draft.
To much value and not enough quantity.
This brings me back to "4TH AND 2"
Belichick and his team have been burned as much as anyone by Polians bullcrap on PI. Going back to 4th and 2 I believe Belichick may have said to himself...well I can go for the 2 yards now or I can kick the ball back to them. After we kick the ball back to...
Ya that sounds about right, pass on the first round talent pick up an extra 4th rounder and a guy that will be playing for another team after two years on our PS.
What a concept...
So you are saying take the talent with our pick instead of letting someone else have him.
Bill Belichick is number one on the redial button for most teams on draft day.
The days of trading out of the talent pool so we can get an extra 5th rounder in a year or...
Someone who is far funnier than I should put together a list of Bill's daily activities and all of the hats he wears. Like would his OC duties be done over breakfast? His drafting duties during a bathroon break?
As you say there are only so many hours in a day :D
Come on, someone funny...
Trading Thomas for a 7th rounder was a big mistake.
Guy was never given enough time due to injuries.
Yet we have Crable and others in the hot tub for 3 years.
What ???
I thought this would be an interesting discussion.
I don't imagine there is a search engine on the internet to search how many active players in the NFL were playing while starting somewhere else.
The Patriots may have enough players out there to have a 2nd team.
Who are still in the NFL could make this team today.
I will start off with an easy one and say Richard S from the Raiders.
I can think of several more.
I don't think that a team like the Patriots can be particular with A guy like Stallworths past and be cheap at the same time. Time to get over your selves and go for the cheap.
