As soon as I heard Vrabel was included in the trade I started to wonder what BB had in store. BB is not stupid so he obviouslt has a plan to fill the OLB position vacated by Vrabel.
Why would BB get rid of Vrabel? There are really only three possibilities...
1) Perhaps BB feels Vrabel is...
The original article on ESPN also mentioned the possibility that Mike Huff, Ronald Curry, and Kwame Harris could be cut. I thought it would be interesting to look at the scouting reports(ESPN) for these players. For comparison purposes, I included a scouting report on a Pats player at the same...
I thought it would be interesting to see how some of the ILB's & OLB's of this draft stack up against some of todays NFL stars & recent high picks. Here goes...
Name (Hght Wght) Bench - 40yd - 10yd - 20yrd - VJ - BJ - 20ys - 3cone
OLB:
V. Gholston (6-3 263) 37 - 4.58 - 1.53 - 2.65 - 42.0...

- although he's in decline, he'd be an upgrade over Ashworth/Gorin
Fabini
- played L for the Jets for years and played RT part of...
How about...
Jamie Sharper?
- He has experience playing ILB in a 3-4 from his days in Texas and Baltimore.
- He's in decline but the Pats like veterans.
Since the Pats aren't making any moves of their own, us Pats fans are forced to predict the moves they will eventually make. They have plenty of holes to fill and, make no mistake about it, they will address all of them eventually (at least to some extent). Like all but one year I can recall...
