Anyone watching Steelers/Jets with DVR? I'm heading out to the bars to watch the game and just saw that Jets TD and am wondering if anyone else saw what I saw.
Not sure who it was, might of been Mangold but I'm not sure. Whoever was 'lead' blocking for Sanchez on the Playfake bootleg did a...
I was also at the game. The feeling I got was that we were booing BrettFavre the me-first, constantly waffling, media-whore. We were not booing the fact that the opposing quarterback just got ruined and had to get carted off the field. At least, that's how I rationalized it.
Was it...
I believe they can sit out until Week 10 (I remember during the Assante drama from two summers ago) and then have to suit up/play.
I think for those last 6 games they would get paid a pro-rated version of the franchise tag. I could be wrong, but I think that's how the salary structure is...
Most of the time it's just variations of us pointing to our crotches, with the occasional shimmy.
We're all uncoordinated white guys in grad-school, so have absolutely no dancing skeelz. The beer is a must.
This. My friends and I do the Ellis-Dance on Sundays when completing routine plays in the house (successfully getting a beer, answering the phone, etc.) It gets funner the more we drink.
Re: My Expectations Have Not Been Lowered!
I agree with you man, but are you going to tell me you expect this team to lose every week, or certain weeks? San Diego and Indianapolis probably expected to win yesterday too.
I think MC has a lot to prove and maybe after this year he could get...
My Expectations Have Not Been Lowered!
I expect this team to win every week. I root for this team every week, and will continue to do so, regardless of QB.
Now, I apologize ahead of time if some of these sentiments have already been posted today by other optimistic posters, I've been in...
I just walked in my door (Western Mass.).
After my '97 Civic decided to make friends with two snow-banks, a disgusting wintery mix of sleet/rain/baby hail, I was at The Game, and finally just got home.
Post in this thread with your first name and whether or not you were at The Game today...
...so hard to accomplish.
Now, I know our Defense was porous (at best), and offense looked out of sync for most of the game.
But I'll give tons of credit to the Ravens defense (and Offense, for staying on the field). Last week a .500 Eagles team had me on the edge of my seat most of the...
Wish I could share your pain guys, but after ten minutes of the first quarter I went straight to the radio and didn't look back.
My only gripe was the guys doin' it here would nonchalantly announce:
"The pass is up, and it's in......... (waits four seconds).... complete/intercepted"...
This couldn't be set up more perfect if it works out, because with that first round bye, the Steelers/Pats game really doesn't matter stats-wise and I can finally enjoy a game without yelling "Throw it to Welker!" every play.
And the final two "playoff games" the majority of my team plays...
Need to combine for 38 Fantasy points for me to get #1 Seed and that first round bye.
Should I be worried? TB usually hits that normally by himself, but it is the Ravens Defense...
That Dallas Clark play in particular really go to me. Essentially he was triple covered, perfect technique, and Manning lumps it up there. Granted, it was a pretty nice throw, and a good effort for the catch, but I can't stand that team.
While I think your idea is solid, better execution would be to drop promos for Family Guy on Fox and the ridiculous lineups CBS touts each Sunday night (you know, Amazing RACE, Cold CASE, Without A TRACE).
