Okay, one might have said so in the first place. As for "handling" the Bills D, last I checked, Romo led the game winning drives in the 4th quarter and still one the game. What's you point?
Better yet, don't tell me you're one of those football "fans" who think that one performance will...
Let me correct a slight misconception about the Cowboys D...they actually don't blitz that much, at least so far this year. They've been playing all year with at least one of their starting corners out. Most of their pressure has been coming from the front 3, Ware, and the occational blitzer...
Re: Just a thought.....
That's exactly how you beat Romo, and that's the strategy Belichick is going to employ.
I wouldn't get too caught up in containing TO. There's a good chance you won't even hear from him, and Dallas has a variety of other weapons for Romo to choose from.
Shut down...
Excellent thread.
Cowboys fan here if you haven't already figured that out by reading some of my other posts here in the past couple of days. Anyway, I thought I'd provide you all with my 2 cents and in the process perhaps give you a decent preview of your opponent this Sunday.
First, the...
I didn't say that the Browns wouldn't be a test. In Today's NFL, pretty much any team can win at anytime (well...except for the Dolphins...); however, what The Gr8est seemed to be implying, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that just about any AFC team is superior to any NFC team, and that's just...
While the AFC is a somewhat better conference overall, let's not get carried away.
Cleveland? Please. And while Dallas may have some questions on defense, especially since they're playing a bit banged up, Cincinnati doesn't even appear capable of fielding a defense, easily making the claim...
Ah...that happens on some sites.
I'm a mod at Dallas Cowboys Talk, and we're pretty cool about talking to fans of other teams. But, as I'm sure is the case here, don't expect them to be all warm and fuzzy if you start off with how pathetic the Cowboys are.
We enjoy intelligent...
You should probably hope that the players themselves are not as overconfident as you guys are.
In all honesty, I'm not saying that the Cowboys are going to win, but stranger things have happened...
I'm glad somebody here noticed...I was beginning to think that fans of other teams weren't welcome here under any circumstances. And that would be a pity.
I'll give it to you straight. The Pats will be and should be favorites to win. The Cowboys, meanwhile, need some breaks like the Bills...
Moss may be faster, but if he is, the difference is hardly worth debating.
Both have run 40 times in the 4.3ish range, and I know for a fact that TO ran the 100 yard in 9.02 seconds...a time that's right there with the current world record holder.
True for the most part...which says something about the Cowboys in and of itself. Hell, they might actually be a threat if he has a good game this Sunday...
When things are working the way they should, Romo throws to the open guy. Sometimes that's TO; sometimes it's Witten...or as the Rams learned, Crayton.
Witten just happens to be getting some good stats because he's a mismatch for all but the best linebackers and safeties, and teams have been...
