Well he's not a rookie. Was drafted in 2014. He has 2 years in the Pats system It's actually 1 more year than Brady had when he went and won a SB. Not that means Jimmy will ever be on the level that Brady is but still. Hell in the league nowadays actual rookie QBs are not playing like rookie QBs

Not sure about that Calais. Pretty sure guys like Gronk, Bennett, Edelman(?), Amendola, Lewis and some others will have a say in that.

The Jets are getting in on it now, with an unnamed player saying the Pats will go 1-3 and it's a great opportunity for the Jets. I don't know if anyone in the media or the other 31 have looked at the roster.

You know what's funny. They all stand up and say Tom is a crybaby and he's overrated. Those same people are now super excited he'll potentially miss those games. Hilarious and ironic.

It sure would be sweet for us fans if the Pats come through the first four games without skipping a beat, if only to underscore the nonsense spewed by some opposing players like Campbell.

All in all, I don't put much, if any, stock into what other players and media are predicting. Training camp and preseason should give us some indicators about how the team performs out of the gate in 2016, and even then it is difficult to say with certainty. I do expect this team to be well-coached and play solid fundamental football, even along the offensive line now that Scar has returned.

If I were Calais Campbell (and the Houston Texans defense, and the Miami Doofins defense, and the New Jersey Jesters defense), I would also be licking my chops over the prospect of facing this crap OL, lousy RBs, non-existent running game, and a short, small-handed QB who was drafted at least 2 rounds too soon.

I just keep reading his name as Cialis and can't take him seriously.
