Aqib Talib Shows Evidence of Concussion

Talib showed signs of a concussion before he started to play football, those lead infused paint chips do wonders for the development of the brain...

I wish Aqib Talib would show a just a little maturity and tip his cap to the Patriots for salvaging his NFL career by bringing him to New England from Tampa Bay.

The Patriots took a big risk on him after he'd been arrested for running around his neighborhood in Texas with a loaded handgun while chasing his sister's boyfriend.

That's a fair point, but I believe it's also realistic to believe that BB and the Patriots didn't take that big risk primarily out of the goodness of their hearts or an overpowering feeling of benevolence toward their fellow man. They correctly saw it as an opportunity for both the team and Talib to benefit. It was a business decision.

I couldn't care less what Talib has to say.

What it says to me is Talib must have been really **** in practice.

So the presumption that the Super Bowl was given to them in week 6 is okay. But mine isn't?

Lol.
No, the idea that the "Super Bowl was given to them in week 6" is equally dopey.

Talib's $300k wedding was evidence enough for me I think his wife has symptoms too.:D

Yet you didn't take issue with the person who posted that. I give reasons and clear discussion points and you jump all over it. With zero facts to substantiate any position you may have. Talk about hypocrisy.

I don't like what I think. I don't want to think what I do. I'm not the only one who feels this way, and if you look at it as a court would then the evidence begs the questions I asked. So if that upsets your sensibilities, then I can't help you. That goes for anyone who has made a dismissive quip about my position.

The NFL is an entertainment business after all.

Aqib Talib says Peyton Manning is better all-time QB than Tom Brady

"That's a tough one, man. That's a tough one. Their preparation, how they approach the game. I've seen both of them," Talib said on ESPN's "First Take." "Just seeing that and seeing their productivity on the field, it's kind of hard to pick. But if I had to pick, I'm going to pick the guy who I won the Super Bowl with. I never won a Super Bowl with Tom. I had a great time over there playing with him. He was amazing to watch - same with Peyton. But I won a Super Bowl with Peyton. So, I'm going to go with Peyton."

Talib is still a Bronco right? He still has to appeal to their fans? How else could he possibly answer? It would be PR suicide for him to suggest that he has any preference for the Pats over the Broncos.

I never won a Super Bowl with Tom.

well aqib, the pats never won a super bowl with you.

Last time i looked, Talib was still playing in Denver, for lots and lots of money. Even staying neutral wouldn't have helped him there.

What, am I supposed to police the whole board for dopiness, fer crissakes? Fine...

They never want to hear that the superbowl was given to them and guaranteed in like week 6 of last season

This is dopey.

OK?

But anyway, look, I understand the frustration. The league is populated by many mediocre and corrupt men. Deflategate is an absolute travesty. But to go from that to this nonsense about "guaranteed in week 6" and "maybe Belichick was in on it," (actually, I see why your post forced a response, by bringing in the Pats and Belichick you definitely made it much worse), anyway, all that stuff, is idiotic.

It's easy to get sucked into the vortex, that's how all conspiracy theories start. Check out the recent movie about all the coo-coo theories around The Shining. They're all crazy (one is that Stanley Kubrick faked the moon landing and the movie was his admission of guilt/cry for help) but you listen to them, and the people who believe them are so convinced of it, damned if it doesn't start to seem pretty reasonable.

But it's not. And this isn't. The Pats gave up TDs to the Broncos because the defense (be it strategy and/or execution) was poor. That's it. No conspiracy. As for "facts to substantiate" that, life's too short to spend time debunking nutty conspiracies. Really, it's too short to write this long a post about it, but what the hell.

Ummm no it doesn't. You could maybe argue who you think you like better, but to say a guy who was a passenger on his 2 SB wins is greater than the guy who had key roles in all 4 of his wins is moronic. Nothing reasonable with that statement.

It's pretty natural to assume that someone is going to side with their current/recent teammate, which is my point.

Thinking that Bill Belichick made special rules just for you is much stranger than who one would take in the Manning vs. Brady rivalry.
