While they were gently massaging Peyton*'s testicles from the booth last night, Nantz and Simms were marvelling and playing with themselves as Peyton* achieved 200 wins.. did not feel like checking last night, but this AM it seems clear that Brady is currently at 194 wins all time.

Currently #12 has 172 regular season wins and 22 playoff wins.. I am probably so disenfranchised with everything NFL in the past 13 months, it seems bigger than it really is.. but how do you neglect this information while anointing Peyton*???....

They gotta push something that the millions of casual fans will eat up. The actual 24/7/365 fans of every team know what's really up

Doesn't make it less of an achievement just cause Brady is going to break it, 200 wins is still a mammoth achievement.

Last night wasn't about the Patriots that's why, they can talk about Brady breaking it when he actually breaks it.

Hey, who let the grown up in the room? ;)

I'm sure that when TB12 reaches 201 in the middle of next season, all of the networks will drool all over his outstanding achievement!

I kid, I kid.

The crickets will chirp.

The point is and was that if you listened to Nantz and Simms it sounded like some unachievable goal that Peyton* had achieved, even though Brady is very close behind..

They threw themselves into the GOAT issue, like it or not..

What GOAT issue?

Don't think you got his point :)

Explain then.. IMO it was clear that when Peyton achieved 200 it was some unattainable goal, is the way it sounded to this viewer.. that is all. While Brady is knocking on the door as well..

There is no secret about the bias of Nantz regarding Peyton*..

When Manning got benched in the middle of the season I had a real hope for Brady+Pats to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl to snatch the 200 win mark from Manning in the twilight of his career. It didn't happen.

Congrats to Manning on the 200th win and surpassing Brett Favre.

(sidenote: no one is ever taking that ironman streak away from Favre)

I think Ivan sarcastically meant that there is no GOAT issue because that this has been answered a long time ago already in favor of Brady. At least that's how I understood his "What GOAT issue ?" response.

I know it has been settled, but kind of felt last night that Nantz put in a plug for Peyton*...

Of course he did. The way both of them were not able to coherently analyze that horrible INT Manning threw but made it out to be some kind of great defensive move was comedy at its best.

Brady's will be more impressive because he'll have done it in less games. Took peyhghton 292 games. Brady if he was to start out next season 6-1 or 6-2 it will have taken him 261 or 262 games to get to 200 wins or if he starts out 6-0 it will have taken him 260 games. 32 fewer than forehead, which is 2 full regular seasons

That's really gotta be disheartening for the manning ballwashers to come to that reality.

It's a lot of wins, but, barring disaster, Brady will get there faster, as others have observed.
