OT Kaepernick wants out of San Francisco, prefers Jets next season

What? You mean Woody cannot afford another hundred thousand dollar fine?

I bet the Jets are just shaking in their boots about tampering charges... I mean, their owner tampered during a public press conference to the media for one of the best defensive players in the league.. Roger Dodger would have none of it, and fined the billionaire owner $100,000, which I'm sure really taught him a lesson, especially when he then gave Revis like $40 million in guarantees

Other teams lost draft picks for tampering, the Jets get a laughable $100k fine... Woody Johnson spends that in a weekend on fuel for his private jet..

Fitzmagic is the better pocket QB right now, but given proper guidance I think Kaep could easily surpass Fitzmagic in a year or just a few months. If Kaep fails, they still have Fitzmagic to use for another year or two.

Either way, I would not want the Jets get Kaep. We have enough trouble stopping mobile QBs already, adding Kaep to a division rival who just finished 10-6 would be terrible for us.

Just realize this is from that idiot menisha mehta so it's more likely it's complete ******** and he's just using SB week to get some buzz for himself..

I would love the 2-3 interceptions per game he would give us twice a year. Also, Kaepernick is incredibly in love with himself. He couldn't stomach living anywhere but San Francisco or NYC.

Read this with my breakfast this morning, but didn't bother posting it because the source was Mehta, who is probably the only beat reporter in the NFL who makes the MCM look good.

The bad news in the article is that Woody "Is the Ball Stuffed with Feathers" Johnson might actually be wising up, as the last time he "tampered," he ended up locking the Jests into the Revis contract. He might now be thinking twice about paying big bucks for Kaepernick, who is, IMO, damaged goods and will never be a pocket passer...he ain't no Cam Newton or Russell Wilson who can stand in the pocket and be a major run threat at the same time.

Maybe Belichick should leak it to the MCM that the Patriots are interested in talking to Kaepernick and get Johnson to trip over his feet to waste more money.

Butler, Ryan and McCourty are beyond excited to play against the two dumbest QB in the league in Tannenhill and Kapernick twice a season.

Jets have been caught tampering 3 TIMES in the last what, 5 years? Crabtree, DeSean Jackson & Revis...of course Kaepernick has been tampered with now, and why not? Woody's chums at the NYFL will do nothing about it.

I'd love for the Jets to trade for Kaepernick with his current contract.. Kaepernick is an ok QB who's getting paid as an elite, SB winning QB..

Jets also have to find a way to sign Wilkerson and Richardson, and I think even Harris?

Calvin Pace is also a free agent.. so they have some big contracts coming up, and they already pay a lot of money to Revis, their offensive line and receivers

Shouldn't the headline read "Kaepernick Threatens Career Suicide"?

He might want to seek psychiatric help if he's truly interesting in playing for the New York* Jets**.
