Either way. I don't think trash talk ever helped or hurt your chances. The only thing it does it help if it gets YOU properly motivated to play and in the mind set you want. The Broncos will not want to win this game more regardless of what any player may or may not say.

That being said I prefer players on the team i root for to save trash talk for the field generally.

The page looks to be ran by GronkNation which is a website set up by the Gronkowski brothers (mostly features Gronk, but still). I would have to think that he moderates everything that is set up off of that webpage. If that's the case, that would include his Instagram profile. Looking at his official Twitter account (the one with the blue tick next to it, which means he's "verified"), the same website is listed on there as well. So no, I'm not going to edit it. If a mod wants to edit it, he or she can feel free to do so.

If only the chance of playing in the superbowl would be enough motivation for those athletes to give it all. Too bad that what really gets them going is weak trash talk.

That's true. Sometimes it work. I think Mavs trash talk in 2011 really ****ed with LeBron.

The mental game is a component of it for sure. Sometimes it hypes you up, sometimes you can get the opponent playing off emotion which makes them sloppy and dumps their gas tank quickly. Conor McGregor for example is a ninja at getting into guys heads, forcing mistakes from them, and it absolutely does impact the outcomes of competitions.

I'm actually kind of glad Gronk is letting the stuff fly a bit. It shows to me that he's lose and chomping at the bit to go smack them around a bit. Denver strikes me as having the persona of a petulant adolescent. Put your hands up, crack them in the mouth, and they'll fold. Denver has always had no heart and hates a real fight. Baltimore and even the freaking Jets have heart and are always game for a scrap. Denver no likely when people hit back and I see them folding quickly if they're met with extremely physical play.

I think much of the talk coming out of Denver is to try and work the officials. With good refs that crap doesn't work, but with Hochuli it could.

Teams trash talk the Pats constantly. Their record says that it doesn't work.

It's fine if they win and he has a big game. If he doesn't he'll look stupid. He was really really mad about the knee comments supposedly.
I don't mind trash talk in football though...john randle looking up your dogs name and saying he'd boil and eat it...now that's trash talk.
